Education & Events

The Clay County Conservation Board offers outreach and onsite programs year-round for a variety of learners, ranging from preschool through adults. Outreach programs provided throughout Clay County for both indoor and outdoor settings, small groups and large gatherings. Programs are flexible with a variety of options.

Our goal is to provide education that enhances outdoor experiences for all ages in Clay County, leading to environmental appreciation, understanding, and stewardship. We do this through school education programs, field trips, nursing home visits, preschools, library programs, public programs, summer camps, partnerships with civic groups, and so much more!

A naturalist program is a wonderful opportunity to make connections with the natural world. The Clay County Conservation Board believes that the future of our environment rests on the education of our youth.  The naturalist is employed to administer environmental education programs to Clay County residents.
